Gibson Explorer

This Gibson Explorer came in looking VERY worse for wear. It's owner had, in a slightly intoxicated, very excited fit of fun decided to ....... well, you get the idea.

The headstock was broken, the fretboard was broken off (with one fret gone) the neck and there was crack in the back of the neck.

The neck was broken out of the body and there was a crack in the body that ran down the back of the body to the bridge pick up.

First thing I did was fix the broken headstock and crack in the neck. This was glued and sanded back to bare timber.

With the headstock back together and the fretboard back on, I moved onto the neck joint.

With the fretboard leveled the new fret could be pressed in and cleaned up.
