I have made a
few replacement necks for Mosrites in the past. I get contacted
by an owner who has an old Mosrite that has a bad neck and
can't be played anymore.
This '66 Ventures bass neck had split along the centre line
glue joint and was no longer playable or repairable.
|
I offer this service ONLY if the old neck is sent to me to
copy off. Mosrites changed slightly from year to year and
it's the only way of getting the new neck to be a guaranteed
perfect fit. |

The necks are made from Canadian rock maple and rosewood to
exact specs and shapes. The lacquer can be yellowed or even
"reliced" to match the original, if desired.
The original serial number is stamped into the fretboard and
the original logo is screen printed under the lacquer, just
as Mosrite did it.
The original tuners and string guide fit the new neck exactly.
|
These necks can also be made to fit a Mosrite but with wider
or thicker neck profiles, different size frets or different
fretboard materials or radius.
I have made replacement Mosrite necks for guitars that have
been valued at original prices WITH my neck. This is piece
of mind for owners of vintage guitars that can no longer be
played.

Anyone requiring this service
is welcome to contact me to discuss the process.
I only offer these necks for genuine restoration purposes
and MUST have the old neck to copy, which can be sent back
with the new neck if desired.
I use the Mosrite names and logos purely for this purpose
only. I do not use the Mosrite logos on my Wosrites or for
necks not meant for this purpose.
