This is a Vibratone with full aluminium neck. It is a maple body with two P-90 pick ups. This is something I have wanted to do since I started making guitars. I think Travis Bean had the right idea. This guitar sustains forever and sounds very much like a timber neck at low amp gains. However, put a lot of gain on it and it starts to get very "bright" which can be taken out with amp adjustment, if desired. I think it sounds great.

More info and pics on these soon.
