THE COPTER

This was one of my favorites and I LOVE mixing several guitars together to make one great one.

This was the outcome of a one night stand an Epiphone Crestwood deluxe had with a Mosrite Ventures Mk II slab body.

I took the guitar that two of my favorite players used and blended them into one. This was Johnny Ramones famous white Mosrite mixed with Fred "Sonic" Smith's Epiphone Crestwood deluxe that he used in the MC5. An offspring made in heaven.........

The thin body is made of solid honduran mahogany with a mahogany neck to get close to that great Epiphone Crestwood sound. Much like an SG with mini humbuckers really.

The neck is based on the Epiphone neck with rosewood fretboard and zero fret like a Mosrite. The body and neck are finished in "vintage" white like the originals.

The pick ups are of course, all Epi with three mini humbuckers wired so you can have any single pick up, any two or all three on at any time.

The scratch plate and Bigsby vibrato is in keeping with the Epi as is the tune-o-matic bridge.

This one pictured is the prototype and has done some serious touring, both here and overseas. There are a few chips and scratches, but it's still rock solid.

This model will be offered as a limited model so keep an eye on these pages for any that might become available.
