Vibratone Deluxe

This Vibratone shape is one of my personal favorites. I love the flowing, offset (the wrong way) body shape.

For the deluxe version it needed to get a little special and this is where the German carve and body binding come in, like a '63 Ventures.

This one is a prototype that has an ultra thin, ultra narrow bolt on neck made of mahogany with an un inlaid, bound rosewood fretboard.

The thick basswood body gives this guitar a "chunky" feeling without being too light and leaves plenty for the carve and binding to be most aesthetically appealing.

The ultra thin neck is made from Honduran mahogany with a clean rosewood fretboard and zero fret and binding. The Bigsby style large headstock completes the vintage vibe.

The handmade, hand wound pick ups are copies of Mosrite humbuckers wound HOT with coil tapping on the tone pot to give nice single coil sound if needed.

The vintage style vibrato has also been used to give that 60's Japanese look and with a Mosrite roller bridge and zero fret, works very well at staying in tune when used.

The guitar also has the three ply scratchplate cut in a shape to give maximum effect.

This is a standard Tym model and will be available on these pages for sale in this or similar specs.
