This is a 1959 "budget" Mosrite made by Semie in
LA. This one, like the double neck on the previous page has
non of the signs of a full scale Mosrite that Semie was famous
for like the German carve, inlays, binding etc.
The pic below shows the crude
soapbar style pick up "wrapped" in tin foil that
Semie used in these late 50's guitars.
This left handed bass was built by Semie
probably around 1960/61. It would have been a one off custom
order.
