We offer a full service from input jack replacement to full restoration including all electrical components, speakers, tolex, grill cloth and fittings.

We stock or can order most brands of valves (tubes) and keep a nice choice of everything from reasonably priced working musicians valves to NOS or boutique valves for the discerning player. Valve fitting and biasing on site in our well equipped workshop, all at VERY affordable prices.

Tym guitars also offers a full repair, mod and restoration service for any effects pedal and signal processor of all or mainly analogue construction. We offer a full service from jack replacement to full restoration including all electrical components, knobs, switches and cases.

We stock or can order most parts to repair or mod effects pedals and have sources worldwide for some of those hard to get transistors and IC's.

We also build our own effects for the player that wants quality with a different or hard to get sound. All our pedals are true bypass, hammond enclosures, standard "BOSS" style 9V adaptors and quality electrical parts, and all hand made.

Prices for effects repairs are given on a job by job basis as it is virtually impossible to quote without looking into the pedal itself. There is a standard $15 quote fee which comes off the price of the job, should you go ahead with it.
